Do you take insurance?

We currently accept Select Health, Regence BCBS, United, UUHP, and PEHP.  Medicare, and Medicaid are pending.

    How do I get reimbursed for out-of-network visits?

    Getting money back for an office visit is now easier than ever – The PEAAC just started working with Reimbursify, a company that submits the reimbursement claim for you. The traditional way of getting reimbursed is that, after the visit, we print out a superbill that you take and figure out how to send it in to your insurance company. Now, we will enter the billing information into Reimbursify when you check out after a visit: the claim gets electronically sent to your insurance company without any additional action on your part, and then you receive a check in the mail from your insurance company. The amount of the check depends on your specific insurance plan, but Reimbursify will also work with the insurance company if the claim is denied for another reason.

    How much will I get reimbursed for my visit?

    How much depends on your specific insurance plan. Through the Reimbursify widget, we can help you easily check your benefits. In the near future, the widget will be installed on our website, allowing you to complete this process on your own. If you sign up for the no-cost-to-you Reimbursify app (with the same email we have on file for your reimbursements), you can check the progress of your claims as well.

    What if I can’t afford your rate?

    There are only about 5000 eating disorder medical specialists in the United States, whereas approximately 30% of Americans will have an eating disorder in their lifetime. I recognize that everyone has different backgrounds and different levels of inherent privilege, and do not want financial considerations to be the reason why someone does not seek care.
