You are a person first and foremost.
Always.

The Performing, Endurance, and Artistic Athlete Clinic (The PEAAC) is a holistic sports-medicine clinic and wellness center dedicated to supporting performing artist-athletes, such as gymnasts, figure skaters, dancers, musicians, and endurance athletes. We also have a specific focus on the management of and recovery from relative energy deficiency in sports (RED-S) and eating disorders.

Gymnastics

From Yurchenkos to Deltchevs to Magyars, we understand not only how to help you prevent and recover from injury, but we also understand the special skills you need to excel in your big meet.

Ice Skating

You combine superhuman strength with tear-jerking artistry – we can help you chase quints and record-high component scores.

Dance

Your body is your paintbrush, but it gets a little overworked during Nutcracker season; let us help you manage those nagging injuries so every show gives you a performer’s high.

Musician

Playing music may not be traditionally considered a sport. But I’d challenge any athlete to play Rachmaninoff without breaking their knuckles. If yours are getting a bit sore, our clinic is definitely equipped to help you.

Endurance

When chasing that Boston qualifying time or Ironman medal, it’s common to want to push past a recurring ache: we understand how important movement is for your sanity but also can help you stay on the course longer.

Disordered Eating

You are sick enough. You do deserve help. We’ve been there too, and we want to pass it forward.

I am just learning how deep and serious a thinker Sara Walker is. She is so incredibly thorough and digs deep into everything. This extends beyond patient care. My mistake for not seeing this under her quiet humility.
